Agent Cold Transfer is a nickname that I have in my workplace. When I say workplace, I mean a call center company. So to those who work in the same industry or know what the term "COLD TRANSFER" is, you're thinking wrong. I was not given this nickname because I'm fond of doing it. It just so happened that during a particular conversation, the term came up and I took it for myself.
Aside from AGENT COLD TRANSFER, there are other workmates that I have who have their own nicknames: Agent Droppah, Agent ARGH just to name a few.
What is this blog for? Well this is a project that we thought up of starting. We will use blogs as a medium to make a daily journal of what has happened in the workplace and our individual lives in general. We... I could use it as an outlet for any frustration I might have gathered during my shift.
I am also hoping that someday we could be monetizing this blog. I have created several blogs before which have generated a substantial amount of money though I stopped doing it because of boredom. I wanted to be in a working environment wherein I can meet, converse and physically touch other people. Blogging all day/ night can't give you that. You may be able to meet and converse with other people but everything is virtual. Though not a bad thing ('cuz I'm also hoping that I'll meet a lot of people through this blog), there's nothing like being with somebody physically. I don't know if you remember that old Johnson's & Johnson's Baby Powder, one touch can mean a thousand words - "Haplos ng pagmamahal". Well, it's something like that.
This time however, I have 2 other people doing this with me. We stay in one place, are in one team and have the same schedule. I might be able to sustain this type of online endeavor.
Anyway, this is just my first post and my target is to be able to make at least one post everyday. I'm still contemplating whether I should give out my company name and my real name because I might be violating some terms and conditions in one of my posts in the future. What do you think?
